Celebrating Pantone’s announcement of Tangerine Tango as the “it” color for the year 2012, we at 4-rthsustainable fashion want to introduce Sunkist Orange as a full extension of our current collection. Summer’s around the corner, and we want to make a splash with Sunkist Orange for menswear. Sunkist Orange is currently undergoing production in the men’s tanks, tees, hoodies, track pants, shorts, and thermals! It will be incorporated into the line as a basic color, and will be available in all of the styles listed above. We will also be bringing back the men’s Heather Gray track pant with Sunkist Orange piping. Get excited!! In tandem with 4-rth’s sustainable practices, the Hoodie is made up of 100% Modal – an extremely eco-friendly fabric. Modal is a highly sustainable product made from Beech Wood chips derived from the Birch Tree. The cellulosic structure of Modal allows it to wick 50% more moisture than Cotton! This provides excellent moisture transportation, outstanding regulation of the body climate, and exceptional skin friendliness.

From Beech wood, textiles made from Modal are resistant to shrinkage and fading due to its strength & dimensional stability. They are particularly smooth and soft, more so than mercerized cotton, to the point where mineral deposits from hard water do not stick to the fabric surface.

This was an awesome news find for me & 4-rth sustainable yoga fashion. I love to hear that SINCE the federal government is dragging its feet on CLEAN energy legislation and expanding the GREEN energy sector or providing MORE funding for it, that there are many individual states out there that are taking the bull by the horns!! 4-rth is attaching this link, again from one of our favorite sites for GREEN & sustainable reporting -- from YALE university. By the way, the FOUR states are: Iowa (20%). SD (13%). ND (12%). Minnesota (11%).
